Internally, we are constantly summarizing what we have learned so our team can learn from the work we do.

Externally, we offer our clients the same opportunity: To have us share our insights and experiences in various marketing subjects with your team.

 

We believe that one of the greatest contributions we can make to our clients' success is passing on our knowledge and experience.

That is why teaching is such an important part of our practice.

 


Our observation is that marketing is not rocket science. Reasonably intelligent people can "get" marketing, provided the issues are framed properly. Where marketing people get into trouble is when they use a limited framework of experience to understand a new set of issues.

Here is an example:

Many technology marketers, especially in the networking and security area, fail to realize how VAR and systems integrator perceptions impact the fundamental way one has to communicate the value proposition of one's products.

Often, they are the key "gatekeepers" for the network managers in small-to-medium sized organizations. They have concerns that differ from the network managers in key ways. If you do not accommodate their needs, the product message simply does not get through to the end user.
